Senior Manager, Global Sales Incentive Compensation:

Our client, a revolutionary healthcare medical device manufacturer and pharmacy services provider is looking for a Senior Manager, Global Sales Incentive Compensation.  This position will report to the Senior Director, Finance and will be responsible for management of the global sales incentive compensation function.  The successful individual will have direct experience in developing and administering compensation plans for multiple geographies.

Senior Manager, Global Sales Incentive Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end global sales incentive compensation program.
  • Partner with Sales Management to design, develop, implement and support global compensation plans that support the Company’s strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure sales compensation plans are in alignment with overall compensation within company guidelines and industry benchmarks.
  • Manage the cloud-based IBM Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) system, including the adjustments needed as global compensation plans change.
  • Develop and deliver global compensation training and communication for Sales leaders and employees.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all submissions provided to payroll.
  • Implement and maintain rigorous audit processes to ensure data integrity.
  • Develop strong relationships and communication methods across the organization.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees, managers and sales leaders to address questions regarding compensation plans, perform research as needed to resolve issues and develop appropriate solutions to resolve exception payment requirements.
  • Own the accounting function specific to the variable compensation accruals and expense entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Build incentive compensation dashboards and reports in IBM ICM, providing Sales Leadership with real-time visibility into compensation plan performance and effectiveness.
  • Develop all documentation (i.e. individual compensation plans and presentation decks) required for presenting plans to Sales and Senior Management Teams.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Expertise/in-depth knowledge of the IBM ICM or an equivalent commission system from a processing/maintenance as well as a change-management/development perspective.
  • Advanced knowledge of global compensation market analysis, plan design and administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple functions and gain alignment across the organization.
  • Ability to develop, improve and lead cross-functional processes.
  • Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Senior Manager, Global Sales Incentive Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance.
  • MBA Strongly Preferred
  • 7+ years managing a global incentive compensation organization, including direct responsibility for writing and administering compensation plans.
  • 5+ years of experience writing and administering compensation plans within IBM ICM or an equivalent commission system
  • 5 + years of experience as a people manager

Required Skills
