We are working with a company in New England that is looking to fill an account management role. The Business Manager will continue to nurture existing relationships and build new business! This role will drive distribution and sales with key accounts within the defined territories. This role is critical to the company’s strategy and vision for the future.


Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Identifying, Building, Maintaining and growing relationships with key accounts within territory
  • Working closely with key accounts to ensure sales and distribution
  • Optimizing trade spend at each key account maximizing ROI
  • Achieving sales targets and distribution objectives
  • Increasing velocity by focusing on product distribution
  • Selling the company’s products through the distribution and direct models
  • Communicating cross functional needs
  • Expands regional business base through the development of new customers.
  • Tracks programs to ensure that they meet expectation.
  • Uses data resources to identify and qualify new targets and to manage existing business.
  • Travels as necessary. Estimate 35%.
  • Traveling for trade shows, meetings, etc.
  • Must maintain good attendance and safe work practices.
  • Maintain safeguards of confidential company information.


Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+  years of experience with retail sales in a consumer packaged environment is required
  • Food and beverage retail sales experience preferred. Retail sales background in CPG is required.
  • Experience in specialty/natural/organic channels is preferred
  • Experience managing and maintaining key accounts is required
  • Experience managing distributors and brokers is required
  • Ability to travel 35% of the time is required
  • A valid Driver’s License and proof of insurance is required
  • Must have top notch business acumen, personal and business motivation, and ethics.
  • Experience with MS Office is required
  • Excellent Computer and written communication skills is required
  • Must be able to lift/move up to 25 pounds
