The Washington, D.C. office of a premier law firm is seeking an associate with 3-5 years of transactional experience to join their corporate group. Experience in corporate finance or M&A at a large law firm strongly preferred. Corporate finance experience should include representing issuers and investment banks in public and private offerings of securities and advising on corporate governance matters. M&A experience should include representing private equity funds and public and private companies in acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures. Experience with the financial services industry, including registered investment advisers and BDCs or other 1940 Act regulated companies, or life sciences and technology sectors a plus.
