Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Serves as a policy analyst and SME in the HUMINT & Sensitive Activities Directorate of the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence (OUSD(I))

* Prepares OSD level staff packages for the USD(I) on matters pertaining to signature reduction, sensitive activities, intelligence, and intelligence related activities

* Coordinate and oversee DoD Component activities pertaining to signature reduction to ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures

* Plan, coordinate, and facilitate OUSD(I) led oversight reviews of the DoD Components for USD(I) leadership and staff

* Collaborate with senior staff within the IC, OSD, Joint Staff, Military Services, Combatant Commands, and other federal agencies on policy related matters

* Other duties as assigned

 

Skills and Core Competencies:

* Extensive experience working on DoD Signature Reduction activities and/or policies

* Effective communication skills (oral & written) to engage successfully with general officers, senior executives, as well as action officers within subordinate elements

* Ability to handle a multitude of tasks for Senior OSD and IC leadership

* Working knowledge of DoD and IC Directives and Instructions pertaining to intelligence and intelligence related activities

 

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s Degree required

* Experience in signature reduction, intelligence, and intelligence related activities

* TS/SCI required to start, clearance must be active and used within the last 24 months

10+ years in the following areas:

* Support to DoD Intelligence, Signature Reduction, and Intelligence related activities

* Experience in implementing and overseeing intelligence policies and programs at a senior staff level within DoD

* Experience in OSD/OUSD(I) highly preferred

* Experience dealing with SCI, SAP, and ACCM material

* Extensive knowledge of DIA or U.S. Special Operations Command preferred
