The Customer Services Manufacturing Specialist provides a primary point of contact for both prospective and existing customers, handling routine inquiries from customers with questions about orders, returns, parts and warranties.

Key Duties:

  • Process customer requests through fax, email, internet among various other sources.
  • Process customers’ transactions using company in-house systems such as SAP.
  • Respond to telephone and written inquiries and requests from both prospective and existing customers, providing a fast and efficient response
  • Manage the flow of customers to ensure their smooth passage through the customer service unit
  • Follow-up on complex or difficult customer inquiries, seeking additional expertise or help from colleagues if required, but ensuring that problems are resolved to the customer’s satisfaction

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills:

  • Manufacturing background
  • Accounting experience
  • Excellent telephone and written communications skills
  • Good PC skills, including Word, Excel and Internet.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and SAP
  • Attention to detail
