Roles and Responsibilities:

• Reviews solicitations and prepares routine response for proposals, bids, and contract modifications

• Prepare simple requests for proposals

• Analyzes contract requirements

• Communicate contract policy and practice to internal business teams

• Prepares and administers routine correspondence

• Prepares, organizes, and maintains contract records and files

• Assists mid- to high-level contract professionals in working with internal and external business teams on issues and development relative to assigned contracts

• Review new contractual documents (prime and subcontracts) and ensure their compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations and any other applicable law or regulations

• Prepare Non-Disclosure Agreements, Consultant Agreements, and Contractor Teaming Agreements to make certain they are legal and binding

• Maintain all contract files and keep them up-to-date with all documentation applicable to contract performance and life cycle; retain all historical contracts and ensure they are closed out and properly held until adequate time has passed prior to archive

• Review new proposals to ensure they have met all of the Government’s requirements outlined in the request for proposal

• Review purchasing back-up documentation to ensure compliance with DCMA regulations of acquisition

• Property manager for Government Furnished Property/Government Furnished Equipment (GFP/GFE); ensure the Government list of items provided under a contract is up-to-date and all items are returned upon completion of the contract

• Provide training on contract related issues; create PowerPoint presentations when there is a need identified

• Advisor on all Government related contract issues; provide FAR sources and study any issue brought up to give the legal and assistance-based opinion concerning the Government’s anticipated method of operation

• Other duties as assigned

Education Level:

Bachelor’s Degree required in Program Management, Business, Law

Experience (Essential):

2-5 years government contracts experience or CCCM/CFCM certification
