Biz2Credit is looking for a smart, high energy individual with strong finance & accounting skills. This is a succession planning role, as a key member of the Executive Management team, the Chief Financial Officer will report to the CEO, Co-founder and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company. The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, reporting around loans and other financial instruments to investors, forecasting, strategic planning, and negotiations, investor relationships and partnership compliance and private and institutional financing. This individual will have significant growth potential in responsibilities as the company grows.

Role Requirements; 
•    Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's fiscal function and performance.
•    Participate in the development of the corporation's plans and programs as a strategic partner.
•    Develop credibility for the finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends to assist the CEO/President and the senior executives in performing their responsibilities.
•    Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the organization.
•    Establish credibility throughout the organization and with the Board as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.
•    Be an advisor from the financial perspective on any contracts into which the corporation may enter.
•    Evaluate the finance division structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group as well as provide individuals with professional and personal growth with emphasis on opportunities (where possible) of individuals.
•    Maintain GAAP compliance Implement required controls, recommend and implement process improvements where needed
•    Assess the treatment and accounting of loans and related revenue recognition Develop and implement accounting, reporting and operating policies to maintain compliance with US GAAP
•    Prepare consolidations of accounts in global markets, Internal reconciliations, transfer pricing, foreign currency translations, analytical reviews, account reconciliations, KPI's, etc.
•    Manage & interface with overseas accounting staff. 
ERP/ Financial software implementation 
•    Consolidation of the external and internal accounting system. Preferred if incumbent comes with ERP implementation experience (especially, on NETSUITE)

Budget management:
•    Leading the preparation process of the annual budget of the company, which is derived from the company’s annual plan
•    Adjusting the company’s accounting system to the company’s budget and performing periodic tracking of Budget Vs Actuals.
•    Analyzing budget implications on the company
•    Participate in decision-making and its implementation in the company budget.

Management Reporting;
•    Preparing periodic reports and presentations to the management and the board of directors. These reports include: Balance sheet, P&L, cash flow and any other required report.

Management of financial exposures;
•    Management of the company’s liquid assets including:
•    Cash Flow exposure
•    Management, implementation and supervision of the investment & related policies

Financial operations management
•    Management of financial operations with the banks and/or any other financial entity:
•    Assistance in selecting the appropriate bank for financial activities. 
•    Negotiations with banks on the terms of account management and monitoring the implementation of the agreements.
•    Financial operations management as per business requirements.

Investor relations (IR) (as applicable)
•    Responding to investors (Q&A).
•    Reports preparations.
•    Reporting to investors.
•    Meeting with investors.
•    Presentations to the financial community.

•    Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is highly desirable or MBA from premium Institute 
•    12-15 years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably in fintech Organization. Loan accounting experience will be helpful but not necessary.
•    Problem solving and analytical skills.
•    High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation. 
•    An enthusiastic team player and strong interpersonal skills. 
•    A hands-on manager with integrity and a desire to work in a dynamic, mission-driven environment. 
•    Strong knowledge and application of general US accepted accounting principles (US GAAP) and Financial Accounting Standard Board (FASB) guidance Ability to shape business processes, to drive projects to completion and get things done
•    Strong Communications Skills (both written & verbal)
•    Experience with a bank or merchant cash advance company would be a plus
•    Ability to lead ad-hoc team to solve problems and complete tasks in agreed upon time frames
•    Understanding and application of controls Advanced Excel and modeling skills.
•    Strong detail orientation a must
