Large manufacturing company seeking a Customer Services Administrator to serve as a primary point of contact between Client and both prospective and existing customers, handling routine inquiries from customers wishing to make purchases. Ideal candidate will be customer-focused with the ability to resolve problems efficiently.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process customer orders through fax, email, internet among various other sources
  • Process customer transactions using company in-house systems – ideally Oracle Based ERP
  • Respond to telephone and written inquiries and requests from both prospective and existing customers, providing a fast and efficient response
  • Manage the flow of customers to ensure their smooth passage through the customer service unit
  • Follow-up on complex or difficult customer inquiries, seeking additional expertise or help from colleagues if required, but ensuring that problems are resolved to the customer’s satisfaction

Ideal Candidate:

  • Two (2) years of related customer service experience
  • Excellent telephone and written communications skills, including computerized data entry
  • Comfortable navigating through multiple screens on a computer
  • Strong verbal communication to coordinate with customers as well as sales teams
