As the Sales Manager you will be responsible for the hands-on execution of sales strategies in support of driving sustainable, profitable revenue growth. You are responsible for planning and implementing sales and marketing programs, both short and long term, targeted toward existing and new markets. You will develop campaigns to generate new business opportunities and identify new business and successfully getting in touch with prospects and introducing solutions. Leverage Salesforce to create a pipeline of leads and execute proven processes to generate new sales opportunities while providing effective leadership with responsibility for managing direct reports and also work cross functional teams and shared resources.
You are used to meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets through the development and continual evaluation of sales strategies to leverage product solutions. You provide sales forecasts on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis and leadership guidance to shift sales strategies as necessary to correct forecast variances to revenue targets. You like to coach and develop the sales team with a focus on evolving best-in-class selling approaches. Ensure tactical support so the sales vision is executed effectively within the organization. Maintain existing, and develop positive new, relationships with key customers, partners and industry leaders and identify new market segments, emerging market opportunities, and new go to market strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Must possess excellent sales leadership, communication skills, and sound business acumen.
Previous sales management experience is required.
Experience in SaaS enterprise software sales with demonstrated success leveraging a sales methodology across a team of Account Executives
Experience in hiring and building sales teams and developing strong sales acumen
Proven track record for meeting / exceeding sales objectives in the technology industry
A solid understanding of the SaaS industry and SaaS sales environment
Successful history in negotiating and contracting with key customers and partners
Successful experience in structuring sales quotas, compensation plans, and incentive programs
Demonstrated success in a very fast paced collaborative environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
