Career Evolutions is searching for a Systems Administrator for a fast growing company in Phoenix, AZ. This is an excellent full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity with a compensation up to $31 per hour.

The Systems Administrator provides Windows Server and platform management. This role includes support of Hyper-V, WSUS, Avaya Phone Systems, Firewall, Active Directory, Exchange 2016, Office 365, SCCM as well as other Microsoft based technologies. This role is also responsible for supporting our system hardware and redundancy between multiple data centers. This position will provide direct contact with external clients to assist in troubleshooting and maintaining data transmissions between our systems.
Responsible for escalated application issues, managing domain controllers, firewalls, file servers, anti-virus servers, Windows group policy settings, phone systems, architecting Windows Active Directory etc.
Develop and maintain all Windows Systems.
Work closely with all IT groups and be proactive in identifying Windows Systems improvements for current or future projects.
Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure that systems support the organization's business requirements and meet the needs of end users.
Defines systems requirements based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms.
Defines technical standards and functionality tests. May develop specifications, prototypes, or initial user guides.
Follows operating procedures and established support tools for analysis and reporting requirements.
Skills / Requirements
Expert knowledge with Avaya IP Phone Systems
5+ Years Hyper-Vexperience.
5+ Years Windows Server environment experience.
5+ Years Exchange administration, including High Availability and Disaster Recovery
Strong working knowledge of Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)
Strong working knowledge of SQL Databases and ability to write queries as required
Extensive knowledge of multiple network protocols and their inter-relationships
