Position Requirements:

  • Associates Degree or Higher
  • Five (5) to fifteen (15) years experience
  • Alternatively, a Masters Degree with 15 years experience with increased compensation
  • DOD Secret Clearance or an active DHS EOD
  • Demonstrated experience testing software in an Agile environment
  • .NET Framework testing experience

Position Description:

Performs formal system testing activities for a particular project or subset of a larger project under supervision of more experienced test personnel. Performs analysis of documented user requirements and directs or assists in the design of test plans in support of user requirements for moderately complex to complex software or IT systems. May participate in all phases of risk management assessment and software/hardware development. Responsible for ensuring that the test design and documentation support all applicable clients, agency or industry standards time lines and budgets. Responsible for ensuring that testing conclusions and recommendations are fully supported by test results, and project managers are fully informed of testing status and application deviations from documented user requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Understanding and implementation of automated testing in a continuous delivery enviironment
  • Works directly with the customer and engineering team in deriving requirements for system test and integration
  • Analyzes requirements for integration and/or testability issues
  • Creates system level drawings and data dependency diagrams to support projects as necessary
  • Defines and configures system resources and software components to maximize performance and operability.
  • Execute test plans and procedures, confirm results of automated tests
  • Works with other test organizations to support program integration
