Overview: We are working with an energetic and innovative manufacturing company in the health and wellness space.  Our client is looking for a Sales Director to be based in their Chicago area office.  This role will be responsible for driving and executing field based sales strategies and leading a Sales Team. Job Duties:

  • Lead members of the sales team and provide direction and insight for the field based sales efforts
  • Assist the Vice President of Sales in go to market strategies and sales execution plans
  • Forecast business development efforts and create strategic timelines
  • Recruits, hires & trains new members of the sales team
  • Develops & implements tracking measurements for the team. Tracks KPI’s to focus on sales growth
  • Continually improving the Brand Advocate program
  • Shares insight with other leadership members to drive sales priorities
  • Coordinates with the VP of sales to develop and implement plans to drive sales volume, team KPI goals, & budget plans
  • Participates in trade shows and other sales events

Education and Experience:

  • 7+ years of sales experience in an CPG food/beverage environment
  • MUST HAVE Previous experience building, training, and leading a sales team
  • Self-starter, creative and entrepreneurial minded
  • Willing to travel up to 45% percent, this will include trade shows  
  • Great communication and problem-solving skills
  • Past history of success in the CPG food/beverage industry in Sales  
  • Enthusiastic about health and wellness
