Searching for a dynamic BI Analyst to join our client’s BI Team in Phoenix, AZ. You will have the opportunity to work with team members to provide key support in the consideration, assessment and execution of strategic initiatives by maintaining, modifying and querying multiple databases to provide standard and customized reports and performing analyses of moderate complexity.
You will design and develop moderately complex reporting infrastructure utilizing SQL technologies (SSRS, SSIS). And conducts SQL queries and work with other data extraction, reporting and analytic tools to develop management reports. In addition, you will collaborate with technical resources and functional managers to gather and analyze data / data requirements. Develop and maintain multi-department reporting based on KPI’s and a clear understanding of operational objectives. Translate strategic business logic into technical report requirements and schema design. Establish manual and automated production processes for the collection and maintenance of data on an ongoing basis. Finally, perform and complete ad-hoc reporting requests of moderate complexity as needed.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Economics, Business or closely related field of study.
3 – 5 years’ experience applying data mining, data warehousing, and OLAP functionality techniques.
Experience including coding with T-SQL, PL/SQL, MS Access, data normalization and data de-normalization.
Experience with OLAP reporting tools, Crystal Reports or any other enterprise level business analytics software is required.
Knowledge and ability with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle including table creation, stored procedure development, data transformation services, job scheduler, and performance tuning is required. Working knowledge and proficiency with SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Integration Services is also required.
The ability to translate strategic business logic into technical report requirements and schema design is required.
Good analytical skills and an attention to detail are required to performing reporting and analysis functions as described.
A strong, technical knowledge and understanding of OLAP reporting tools, Crystal Reports and enterprise levels business analytics software is required.
The ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow standard operating procedures with regard to patient data to ensure compliance with HIPAA is required
