We are looking for a Sustainability Project Engineer (Materials Compliance). In this role the candidate will be involved for delivering corporate goal to achieve full material transparency on all new parts make products in EU region under critical materials management program in close collaboration with Materials, Regulatory Affairs, local Manufacturing, Suppliers…

Key Operational Responsibilities:

• Materials Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management where range of legislation to be considered
• Assess and identify materials legislation with regulatory affairs team to identify possible impacts
• Keep Restricted Material List updated
• Support Materials compliance process improvements, development and implementation.
• Day to day lead on technical report documentations for mandatory materials regulatory compliance
• Lead ad hoc initiative as required to drive competitive advantage in materials compliance
• Help to refine / improve existing processes, information systems, metrics, tools, templates, to support materials compliance activities
• Proactively engage with key internal and external partners

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials, Chemistry or Sustainability Engineering

Technical Skills:

• 1-3 years, minimum, working experience in Materials regulatory compliance (e.g. REACh, RoHS, POP), EU food contact regulation is plus
• Familiar with product development processes and Supplier technical requirements
• Demonstrated success working with cross-functional organizations
• Attention to Detail, ability to handle complexity, effectively work in team as well as lead tasks in autonomy
• Pro­active behavior and capability to respect work commitment and deadlines
• The candidate should demonstrate capability to build relationship and network across multiple organizational functions
• Fluent in English, strong verbal and written communication skills
