This role is with a growing & successful dairy manufacturing company located in the Pacific Northwest. Responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to: leading & supervising a team during assigned shift; ensuring policies and procedures are followed & company objectives are met.


Duties & Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Lead, supervise & train employees including performance management
  • Coordinate, plan and schedule all production staff & activities to maximize performance and meet company needs
  • Ensure production lines are running efficiently
  • Perform seal & packaging checks
  • Use various computer systems to manage production effectiveness, materials and manufacturing specifications
  • Coordinates with other departments on production, productivity, customer service, quality, & problem resolution
  • Provide back up support to supervisors, plant manager and other positions as requested
  • Maintains Good Manufacturing Practices & Food Safety for a healthy & safe work atmosphere and ensure all related policies and practices are being followed
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Required Skills/Qualifications (including but not limited to):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Must have 3+ years of production supervisory or leadership experience in an dairy manufacturing environment; ice cream experience strongly preferred 
  • Knowledge and understanding of GMPs & safe work environment practices required; SQF knowledge preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and self-manage
  • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including evening weekends and holidays
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Needs to have strong computer skills and proficient with Microsoft office and programs
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment background, drug and criminal screens
