Career Evolutions is searching for a Service Advisor for a fast-growing automotive company in the Northern Phoenix Metro area, AZ. Full-time, direct-hire position with compensation up to $90,000.

Document / Write-up customer instructions. Offer a path toward solutions and proactively keep customers updated on the status of the job, including calling them before they call.
Liaison and conduit between technicians and customers. Make sure team of technicians provide comprehensive inspections with the necessary recommendations for timely, proper, and accurate estimates including ordering correct parts upon acceptance by customer.
Parts Ordering. Negotiate and secure parts in a timely manner to ensure smooth work flow and avoiding unnecessary job flow interruptions. This can be very fast paced at times.
Estimating. Highly accurate and detail minded. Must be able to articulate to the customer why this or that is necessary or elective to gain trust and acceptance for recommendations.
Billing. Convert successful estimates to correct invoicing allowing for and efficient and correct billing customer experience.
Acting Shop Foreman whenever owner is absent and assist technicians when they hit sticking points
Effectively handle incoming phone calls as needed with a high CSI mindset
Video inspection of vehicles that are dropped off
Test drive for Quality Control (QC) and complaints
Scan vehicles, print fault codes
Conduct necessary research online whenever techs get stuck with unusual symptoms
Must have previous experience working in an auto dealership and/or auto repair shop environment
Prior experience working as a Technician and/or Service Advisory function is required
Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment and strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Deadline and detail-oriented with a commitment to quality mindset
Professional appearance and personality, positive attitude, and a strong work ethic with integrity beyond reproach
Good verbal and written communication skills, technology-minded, commitment to learn, train and work as a team to achieve desired results
Possess a clean driving record and able to pass personal background check and drug test
