Career evolutions is searching for a Sales Engineer for an exciting and rapidly-growing technology company in New York, NY with a total compensation up to 120K.

This position will help reinforce the Operations team and will work on the deployment and support of forensic solutions for B2B video production workflows. This role, although with a small team, is part of a globally recognized technology company with a flexible office and work from home work environment.
Function, Profile & Responsibilities
The responsibilities for the Sales Engineer/Technical Account Manager include:
Provide timely support for any issues or fixes needed by the client with any of our products.
Deliver and commission products and software on time with regards to contractual commitments.
Build good direct relationships with our customers technical contacts and learn to understand their needs.
Prevent issues before they arise by being proactive and regularly scheduling technical reviews/audits and on-site visits.
Get feedback from clients as to what their priority product requests are and forward to sales, marketing and development for future releases.
Provide Technical support to our Pre-Sales team for building architectures and system proposals.
This position is based in New York (Manhattan), with the ability to work remotely several days per week after he/she is trained accordingly.
Education, Experience, Skills & Abilities:
The preferred candidate will possess the following education, experience, skills and abilities:
B.Sc.or M.Sc. in computer science or electrical engineering (or equivalent), with 5 to 15 years of industry experience
Good IT background
Good knowledge of Linux environment
A proactive attitude in supporting customers
Good communications skills
The following skills/experience would be appreciated:
Background in audio, video or streaming
Scripting or programming (Python Preferred)
Cloud (Amazon AWS for instance)
