Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM

$50,000 base salary, plus opportunity for future performance bonuses after a training period

A Jacksonville flooring company is looking for an Operations Office Manager. Job Duties

  • Manage all employees and daily operations for the company.
  • Keep all pricing on samples maintained in Quick Books, along with samples in the showroom.
  • On a weekly basis, send out customer thank you letters along with comment sheets, coupon, and magnet.
  • Enter all installers and sales force pay into Quick Books, in a timely manner.
  • Enter all bills into Quick Books.
  • Make certain that all bills received have the same cost as the customer estimates.
  • Collect all checks due from jobs and enter into Quick Books.
  • Maintain the office’s supply levels and order supplies when necessary.
  • Work the sales floor if customers need assistance and possess product knowledge of the sales floor.
  • Cross training required with order processor.

Qualifications:

  • Must have 5+ years of experience in an Office Manager or Operations Manager role, which includes management of 5-10 employees.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a customer and/or client service role, is required. Experience working for small company, preferred.
  • High level of attention to detail, is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Quick Books experience preferred, but not required.
  • Must have proven leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Must be able to think critically to improve current processes and streamline company operations.
  • Experience working within the flooring, tile or design industries, preferred.
Required Skills
