Blackmere is partnering with an emerging, Tampa, Fl based cybersecurity MSSP as they expand their national channel sales team. We are looking to hire an experienced Channel Sales Manager to lead the Eastern region through the expansion of current relationships and the addition of new partnerships.

This is a unique role where you will be able to expand your cyber security knowledge and take your sales career to the next level. Whether you're currently in an inside sales role and looking to move into Channel Sales, or focused on IT hardware/software and want to break into cybersecurity, this could be the ideal position for you.

This is not your average sales role. We want you to bring your relationship building expertise, your consulting skills, EXCELLENT communication skills and intuition to the table to help us solve complex problems for our partners. You will be responsible for developing strong and trusting relationships, envisioning and implementing new strategies with accountability for the East Coast region. Along these lines, we anticipate the ideal candidate will be deeply involved in many of these areas on a daily basis:

  • Selling through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources
  • Establishing productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned channel partner accounts
  • Coordinatomg the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and expectations
  • Meetomg assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts
  • Proactively leadomg a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship
  • Proactively assessesing, clarifying, and validating partner needs on an ongoing basis
  • Selling through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources
  • Leading solution development efforts that best address end-user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel
  • Ensuring partner compliance with partner agreements
  • Driving adoption of company programs among assigned partners
  • Transitioning new accounts to the company’s Solution Integration Group for onboarding
  • Working closely with the Solution Integration Group to ensure customer satisfaction and service resolution
  • Coordinating the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations.

In order to be a strong fit for this role you will have several of the following characteristics:

  • Bachelor Degree required, Masters Degree preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years of prior experience selling managed cyber security solutions
  • Minimum three (3) years of channel sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment
  • Ability to quickly generate leads and new business through existing relationships with key stakeholders and channel partners within assigned territory
  • Strong knowledge of the cyber-security industry and technologies available to prevent attacks
  • Must be conversational about IT in general and Security specifically – able to talk the talk
  • Prior track record of achievement in positions with significant accountability, and exceptional performance against quota
  • Must be a self-starter, independent, quick learner with proven ability to grow and maintain business relationships
