Sales Management Position - Leading customer-focused Independent USA based vertically integrated Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) providing custom and standard surgical orthopedic trays, cases and sterilization containers within the orthopedic implant and surgical instrument industry selling directly to their OEM medical device manufacturing customers. They are looking for a VERY experienced executive sales leader who knows how to sell into the OEM orthopedic implant marketplace WITH current or previous OEM medical device sales management experience to take the company to the next level.
Only candidates with OEM medical device sales and sales management experience will be considered! In addition, the right candidate should have contract management background and hands-on experience with maintaining and developing key account relationships (cutting the deals), with sales management and related budgetary experience as they build their sales team with an eye on future expansion as the business grows.
This position has USA sales responsibility reporting directly to the CEO and responsible for guiding the growth of the current business and building the sales team as growth dictates. The company culture reflects one that delivers high quality precision products on time that has resulted in hundreds of custom successful custom surgical product launches. In addition, they are a strongly customer focused company known as the "partner of choice" with their medical device manufacturing customers. **They were recently purchased by a private equity group that is providing the infusion of additional financial resources to create an exciting growth opportunity for the person who assumes this ground floor executive leadership role, understanding they will also be working within a key account sales management capacity as they guide the growth of the company to build the capacity to add sales headcount.
Position Location and Coverage:
- Northern New Jersey Base
- Will offer relocation assistance for the right qualified candidate
- USA Responsibility
Compensation:
- Base: 150K to 180K+ (upper end dependent upon spot on experience)
- Total Compensation: 200K to 250K (base + variable bonus)
- Full medical, dental benefits with a IRA match
- Relocation assistance to move to Northern NJ
