Career Evolutions is searching for a Vice President of Product Management with an exciting and fast growing international high-tech company in Atlanta, GA. This is an excellent career opportunity paying up to $250k total compensation.
You’re an excellent fit for the role if you enjoy taking on several product management responsibilities while building out a team and working cross-functionally to increase the profitability of current offerings and create new products to aid in company growth.
You will serve as a product leader for all products and lead a team of other Product Managers across a portfolio of products. You will partner closely with other leaders within the organization to deliver products to market. You will bridge the gap between market demands, specific client needs, and the clients’ engineering team. Initially, you will focus developing a product management strategy and program for a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution and also a product that is a Managed Service capability designed to provide managed capability to enterprises.
You are responsible for the success and growth of the product portfolio, working in the Product Management team as interface between Sales Teams and R&D departments. You will translate market requirements into value propositions and co-develop long-term Product Plans and ensure proper execution of the Product Roadmap. You own the business plan and margin analysis for products. You will have ownership of a SaaS Platform, and a Managed Service Center, and the new products introduced as opportunities arise.
You will ensure the collection and the analysis of market input to meet business objectives and translates feedback from customers, market, towards improved specifications for new products and platforms. Competitive analysis, product & technology bench-marking, cost bench-marking. And, you will define the business case for new products and defends it at management level. You are responsible for pre-sales & business development activity for new products and for helping to drive the commercial success of new products. You are responsible for the CRS specifications for new products and for providing templates of such specifications to the sales teams so that the new products are successfully out in various markets and customized by accordingly.
You will lead the planning of new platforms, the R&D required investments, and the presentation the business case for approval. Your external customers include operators’ sales teams and software integrators and suppliers. Your internal customers are sales teams, project managers, and architecture teams. You will responsible for the selection and management of suitably qualified partners for new products to successfully build and contractually secure the partner eco-system in new products.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
10 plus years of working experience in software development, embedded technology, cyber security
Deep knowledge of hardware and software security systems and of security architecture
Ability to drive technical specifications to CRS level for new, innovative products
Strategic, analytical and conceptual skills
Knowledge and experience in business to business industry, processes, project management methods, strategic marketing and planning
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a global environment
Fluency in a second language is a plus, i.e. French, German, Italian
