The Digital Production Manager is responsible for the design and technical implementation of digital marketing and fundraising campaign experiences, optimizing digital production based on best practices, metrics and code efficiency.  

 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Design & develop campaign email and newsletter templates to improve user experience and deliver a consistent identity across all 3 stations;
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise with Luminate Online; serve as the main liaison to Luminate Online for back-end production needs;
  • Oversee and maintain email and online form implementation process, eliminating inefficiencies from content approval to design and layout;
  • Code, implement, and test bulk electronic communications and fundraising and advocacy pages, ensuring accuracy of content and user experience;
  • Manage consistency of code and best practices across all digital campaigns, ensuring a similar look and feel for outgoing messages in line with organizational branding;
  • Analyze user pathways to identify new engagement opportunities (social media to website, thirteen.org to Convio, etc).
Required Skills


• 3+ years of experience working with online fundraising campaigns and/or online marketing;
• Experience working w/ ESPs, content management systems and CRMs like Blackaud/Convio’s Luminate Online;
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS and mobile optimization;
• Strong data management skills and experience working with nonprofit membership databases (e.g. PIDI, Donor Direct, PledgeMaker, Raiser’s Edge, etc.);
• Knowledge of segmentation, dynamic content, and testing methodologies; experience applying and using metrics to inform email strategies; Understanding of CAN-SPAM requirements;
• Familiarity with A/B testing and digital campaign design best practices from email to page layout;
• Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to maintain strong professional relationships with a range of groups, volunteers and associates both in person and by writing/phone.
