Career Evolutions is searching for a Sr. Desktop Support Technician  for a fast-growing technology company based in Phoenix, AZ. Exciting contract opportunity with compensation up to $30/hr.

You will provides support for basic incident resolution and requests reported to the service desk. Responsibilities include initial assessment, triage, research, and resolution of basic incidents and requests regarding the use of application software products and/or infrastructure components, collecting information through a customer conversation, accessing support tools, and additional support staff
 
Responsibilities:

  • Interact with vendors’ and partners’ technical support teams
  • Deliver prompt & professional technical & application support to approximately 100 users
  • Address and resolve basic incidents and requests; log all incidents and requests; engage other service desk resources or appropriate service resources to resolve incidents that are beyond the scope of their ability or responsibility
  • Uses appropriate logging categories for incidents and requests
  • Create a positive customer support experience with a consummately professional attitude
  • Establish the end-to-end customer experience and provides a single point-of-contact for the customer
  • Evaluate and resolves incidents and requests regarding use of application software or hardware
  • Log and track incidents and requests from identification through resolution
  • Uphold and protect confidentiality with regard to all aspects of customer care and employee information
  • Work with other members of the help desk on projects and initiatives as needed
  • Researches and identifies bugs within the software and reports to the development teams
  • Support C-level executives on an as needed basis

 
Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or other equivalent education
  • 5 years of experience in a help desk / desktop support role
  • Experience providing support in a headquarter environment
  • Experience providing excellent customer service to executive teams
  • Hands-on experience supporting iOS / Apple / Mac / iPhone / iPad
  • Current A+ and Network+ certifications highly desired
  • Familiar with OSI concept and willingness to be involved hands on
  • Establish strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Capable of working a flexible shift and be available for weekends and overtime if needed
  • Demonstrates a positive, self-starter attitude
