Job Summary:

This position will report to the Maintenance Team Leader. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the reliability of the facility and manufacturing equipment to increase uptime and improve OEE; while leading the Maintenance Team and insuring the company’s safety program compliance. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for preventive maintenance completion and effectiveness through documentation review, audits & inspections, and review of equipment breakdown events. 
  • Ensure all maintenance work is completed with strict adherence to all relevant personal and food safety requirements (such as LOTO, electrical safety, SQF and GMPs) including the proper documentation.
  • Prevent breakdowns through root cause analysis, identification of solutions, and corrective action using Maintenance Downtime Incident Review (MDTIR) tools and methods.
  • Participate in the Continuous Improvement Teams (i.e. PPWs) for all production Business Units.
  • Schedule and implement annual maintenance activities for all critical manufacturing equipment.
  • In coordinator with the planner/scheduler, plan and develop Maintenance Team’s work schedules and work activities utilizing the weekly Master Schedule.
  • Complete time cards/sheets in ADP.
  • Ensure the maintenance team adheres to proper procedures for documenting spare parts usage and work with the Materials Reliability Facilitator to ensure appropriate levels of spare parts and materials are maintained (including weekly review & reorder or critical spares).

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years maintenance supervision/management experience in a food/beverage manufacturing environment is required (dairy a plus)
  • Bachelor's degree (Engineering or technical degree) preferred
  • Experience with Information Technology (Megamations or other CMMS programs)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and electronic payroll systems (ADP)
  • Formalized training in Preventative Maintenance Methods & Root Cause Analysis
  • Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills required
  • PMO or Reliability Centered Maintenance experience is a plus
  • HAZMAT Team Membership (technician level qualification is a plus)
