Job Summary:

Outreach Coordinators conduct a high-volume of outbound calls on behalf of healthcare client. Outreach Coordinators retrieve sensitive information by communicating with physician offices, hospitals, and other healthcare professions with a goal of collecting important information and maintaining and requesting detailed documentation of medical records. Outreach Coordinators will track file collection process, schedule an exchange of medical records and coordinate any necessary follow-up.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high volume of outbound phone calls
  • Provide physician offices and hospitals detailed patient information
  • Manage documentation requests and scheduling of document exchange
  • Identify plan of action and follow through which may include additional research
  • Document all communications in scheduling system
  • Work in a fast-paced, start-up environment with potential opportunities

 

 

 

 

Required Knowledge:

  • 2+ years of experience working in a professional office & fast-paced environment
  • Proficient skills with MS Office Suite (Especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed with a proactive work approach and solution focused attitude

 

Required Skills:

  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High Multi-tasking abilities
  • General knowledge of Microsoft products and information intake systems
  • Relevant call center experience, healthcare industry a strong plus
  • A pleasant disposition and ability to manage calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Ability to manage a high volume of outbound calls
  • Ability to balance working independently as well as part of a team

 

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience working in a professional office & fast-paced environment
  • 1-2 years multi-specialty experience in physician office or hospital environment

Required Education or Certification:

  • High School Diploma or GED
