The Network Services Engineer will work closely with Kadmon IT staff to support current and future IT initiatives. These include ongoing network and systems enhancements, compliance initiatives, and IT projects to support business needs. The Network Services Analyst will also be expected to supplement Kadmon IT staff in the documentation of systems, policies and procedures.
Provide technical assistance for infrastructure technology including Cisco network devices, Cisco Unified Communications, Virtualization infrastructure, SAN/NAS infrastructure, backup and disaster recovery technologies, and the Microsoft Ecosystem.
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of infrastructure monitoring and reporting platforms including Splunk, Zabbix, and others.
Participate in ongoing compliance monitoring and testing of critical infrastructure.
Develop and implement IT controls for regulatory compliance initiatives.
Create and maintain documentation for critical infrastructure application systems including standard operating procedures and change control documents.
Participate in and support capacity planning and development of long-term strategic goals for systems and software in conjunction with department managers and directors.
Ensure the integrity and security of enterprise data on host computers, multiple databases, and during data transfer in accordance with business needs and industry best-practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
Develop detailed project plans and milestones, coordinating with cross-organizational team members (technology, business, vendors, etc.).
Network Engineer: 5 years
Juniper: 2 years
Linux and Windows systems administration: 2 years
Scripting (Bash, Perl, etc.): 1 year
Cisco: 2 years
Virtualization (Oracle VM, VMware, etc.): 1 year
Advanced networking skills (Cisco, Juniper, etc.)
Additional Knowledge (nice to have):
Hyper-converged Infrastructure or storage (Nutanix, NetApp, etc.)
Database technologies (MySql, Microsoft SQL, Oracle, etc.)
Security technologies (802.1x, PKI, etc.)
Pharmaceutical or other highly-regulated industry experience.
