Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in the implementation and management of security programs.
  • MUST possess knowledge of the governing directives and the application of directive language to practical situations.
  • Provide advice and assistance on the implementation and management of the Security Program.
  • Support the Security team in the management and execution of the security program in the protection of classified information and industrial security oversight.
  • Prepare DD Form 254’s and review DD Form 254’s for prime and sub-contractors.
  • Review and validate DD Form 254’s and statements of work to ensure compliance and enable contractor personnel to perform duties.
  • Develop/update security classification guides.
  • Assist in resolving information classification and marking issues.
  • Serve as the designated COMSEC Responsible Officer or designee. Manage and assist with the accountability of COMSEC equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring equipment is operational, users are properly trained to operate the equipment, and developing and disseminating education, training and awareness materials.
  • Review Public Release and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and prepare associated correspondence for the staffing of requests.
  • Review and assess security incidents/violations and related issues. Document reviews and assessments and recommend further inquiry, investigation and action. Provide recommendations to the Government security officer.
  • Review industry Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), provide correspondence for government signature recommending approval or capture comments requiring further clarification.
  • Develop, disseminate and present security education materials that provide blended learning opportunities. Materials will include training plans, briefings, slides, refresher training and specialized training for personnel and across all classification levels and accesses.
  • Coordinate with external security educators to develop and obtain education materials for dissemination.
  • Develop and administer foreign travel and foreign contact program for personnel to include maintenance of personnel security files.
  • Administer security review program, establish review schedule, generate correspondence for government signature, maintain security review files, track status of finding and monitor follow-up reports from sites reviewed.
  • Coordinate and execute security support activities which include, but are not limited to, personnel processing, researching and validating personnel security clearances and accesses, updating Global Address Listing, processing visitor and access control requests, preparing and tracking security investigation documentation, issuing credential documentation, preparing and documenting access indoctrination documentation and managing various functional security tasks.
  • Enter and maintain data within designated data repositories, generate reports as required by the Government.
  • Interface with designated government agencies to address and resolve noted personnel security issues.
  • Represent the government in the conduct of security reviews and staff assistance visits at Government and industry locations. Be knowledgeable of and apply regulatory guidance and directives to ensure the location being reviewed is in compliance. Provide input to the Government final report.
  • CATMS accounts primary POC for issuing and correspondence processing for the office.
  • Coordinate and compile documents for Chief Operating Officer signature.
  • Primary POC for Joint Staff badging. Process paperwork and issue badges.
  • Special Security Officer to process electronic messages for SCI clearances.
  • Ensure ASD suite has general security coverage during normal business hours.

Required Skills

All personnel must be U.S. citizens who possess and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility based upon a favorable Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last five years.
