Director, Talent Acquisition
As the leader within Recruiting, you will be responsible for establishing and leading the strategic initiatives that support the employment needs of the organization, including recruiting, university relations, outreach, and diversity programs to achieve optimal workforce levels. This will involve a high level of collaboration with senior leadership across all functions to identify needs and workforce planning strategies. The Director, Talent Acquisition is ultimately responsible for developing plans that support organizational goals and directing the implementation and evaluation of programs and technology to ensure compliance with equal opportunity regulations.
Planning and directing employment and recruiting programs, policies, and leading your team towards achieving business objectives and strategic goals.
Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting plans and strategies.
Partner with the VP, Talent Management and Director, Human Resources, to identify strategic hires, support succession planning for the business, and implement workforce planning strategies.
Collaborate with the Director, Total Rewards to ensure that the employment value proposition is competitive with market trends and communicated effectively as an employer of choice.
Create strong partnerships across organizational leadership to identify areas of opportunity.
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to meet recruiting challenges across regions, markets, and practices.
Develop and administer recruitment, diversity, outreach and re-deployment strategies that meet organizational needs and you will be responsible for overall recruiting, hiring and onboarding of employees.
Review and select appropriate technologies for applicant tracking and other related systems.
Plan, develop and direct diversity strategies that meet organizational needs and you will be responsible for overall legal and regulatory compliance.
Establish and implement inclusion outreach efforts that effectively communicate and support strategic vision.
Responsible for building, managing and adhering to the Talent Acquisition budget.
Provide overall leadership and guidance to the Talent Acquisition function and team.
Interview, hire and train employees; plan, assign and direct their work, appraise their performance, address their complaints and work with them to solve their problems; reward and where necessary, discipline employees.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field, though given the nature of the role, a Master's degree is preferred.
Aat least 15 years of directly related recruiting experience with a substantial background in recruiting leadership roles.
Outgoing, organized and assertive. You'll also need to be able to network and build relationships with a wide variety of people.
Excellent English language skills, written and verbal, are essential to success in this role.
Quickly get up to speed on our existing policies and procedures, and acquire an understanding of the company's service offerings, and employment opportunities.
Broad depth of knowledge regarding HR law.
