Career Evolutions is searching for a Financial Analyst for an international manufacturing company in Phoenix, AZ. Full-time, direct-hire opportunity with a compensation up to $75K + Bonus.

This is a very exciting opportunity as you’ll be part of a rotational Accounting & Finance Program where you will take on more responsibilities and move to a new location in the U.S. or around the world periodically. 

Job Title: Financial Analyst

Job responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements etc.
  • Perform month end closing duties including providing explanations and analyses of any unusual spending and review of all assigned department spending and ledger accounts.
  • Provide accounting support for assigned departments.
  • Serve as financial liaison for assigned product line, including assisting R&D and Marketing team members with expense and capital budgeting, spending analysis and forecasting.
  • Assist in coordination and preparation of the annual budget.
  • Maintain and enforce travel and expense report policies.
  • Administer the online expense reporting database and credit cards.
  • Assist with maintenance of SOX documentation and serve as the process owner for assigned business cycles for compliance with Sarbanes Oxley.  
  • Responsible for division transfer pricing and inventory transfers for month end close.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • MBA, CPA, CMA, and/or public accounting experience highly desirable
  • 3+ years of financial analysis and accounting experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Experience with Cognos and/or Hyperion preferred
  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a focus on timely, accurate results
  • Ability to multi-task and excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
