Conexess Group is looking for a Lead SQL Server DBA that can help design, develop and implement scalable, maintainable, high performance solutions on our clients MS SQL Server Platform.  Day to Day would include the design and implementation of the database administration solution as well as perform database development work too. Our client is moving our outsourced data assets to on-premises OLTP environments and building out a state of the art Enterprise Data Warehouse.

Responsibilities:

• Create and document database infrastructure standards and deployment documentation
• Analyze database infrastructure requirements and design solutions
• Build and optimize hardware for database workloads
• Deploy database infrastructure and solutions
• Perform proactive database performance monitoring, analysis, alerting, reporting, tuning and capacity planning
• Implement and manage scheduled database maintenance plans
• Manage, maintain and optimize database backups and recovery scenarios
• Identify and configure thresholds, alerting and capacity based monitoring
• Work with other Senior Database professionals to model and implement both 3nf databases as well as dimensional models to support an Enterprise Data Warehouse initiative
• Design and develop ETL processes
• Design and develop an SSRS reporting infrastructure

Skills

• 6+ years experience SQL Server 2005 – 2014
• Strong T-SQL skills
• 3+ years working with SSIS
• 3+ years working with SSRS
• Experience with Salesforce.com a plus
