Job Title: Content Strategist
Job Summary: The Content Strategist is very organized with the capacity to manage numerous projects simultaneously. You must have a proven track record of creating and implementing original, strategic content strategies and communicating their value across various teams. You are exceptional at setting brand direction, establishing brand tone/voice, and implementing on brand content for new and existing websites and you are comfortable explaining content strategies and plans directly to clients
Audit client websites to identify content gaps and needs
Work with SEO team members to devise a long-term content strategy
Develop and implement strategic content roadmaps to meet each client’s short- and long-term company goals
Communicate content goals, strategies, and plans to internal groups, including SEO, Account Management, Paid and Social Media teams
Create content calendars and outline content creation plans for a multitude of websites
Research competitors and conduct a competitive analysis for clients
Perform keyword research and relevancy research
Refine a large volume of content daily with quality edits (and rewrites as needed)
Manage website content, including image and video optimization
Collaborate with social team to post and promote content
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
2-5 years of content marketing experience (agency experience preferred)
Hands on experience with creating, managing and strategizing content for company brands
Solid written and oral communication skills
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
Solid understanding of marketing principles and industry tools
Working knowledge of Google Analytics
Creativity, teamwork and strong attention to detail
