Career Evolutions is searching for a Part-Time CFO for a fast-growing manufacturing company headquartered in Bend, OR. This is a part-time position with competitive hourly pay.

Job Title: Part-Time CFO
Job Description: You will work with the CEO and the Executive Team to define and lead the execution of short-term and long-term goals. You will drive the growth of the business through leadership, strategic planning, and financial forecasting and analysis. You will be responsible for all financial operations of the organization including preparation of annual plans and budgets, rolling forecasts and financial plans, building and maintaining third party relationships, etc.
Duties include management of all aspects of Accounting, Treasury, Internal Controls & Audit, Financial Reporting, and Contract Negotiations. In addition, you will manage all monthly closing activities, including the preparation of GAAP-based and management financial reports along with financial analysis in support of business initiatives.
You will provide effective, hands-on, collaborative, and inspiring leadership style to ensure integration of all employees and foster an environment of continuous improvement. You will manage, train and coach direct reports, set goals that support the organization’s objectives, and assign accountabilities as well as plan, monitor, and appraise job results. In addition, you will work with third party vendors, and support ongoing performance efforts and keep the CEO and Board of Directors informed of critical issues and opportunities.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA (Big 4) highly desirable, MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of finance and leadership experience the manufacturing industry
  • Exceptional accounting and finance skills with proven track record of exceeding goals in high-growth scenarios
  • Hands-on experience preparing financial statements, forecasts, budgets and financial reports
  • Experience building and managing an accounting/finance department
  • Experience implementing integrated software systems, dashboards and internal controls
  • Excellence in organizational management with ability to develop high-performance teams
  • Demonstrated track record of setting and achieving goals and objectives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
