Director of National Accounts, GPO/IDN's; Large Global Medical company manufacturing the leading endoscopic imaging devices and solutions within the acute care medical industry. Their medical industry recognized sales and marketing strength is based upon their leading edge R&D and manufacturing investments.  They are seeking a successful and experienced Director of National Accounts currently managing strategic relationships and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN's), Health Systems, Corporate Chains and other key account relationships within the hospital and related medical market segments (Ambulatory Surgical Centers).  The right candidate will bring the experience of working in collaboration with internal sales leadership to identify a strategy for IDN's and GPO accounts to achieve access. sales and gross-to-net maximization of the full marketbasket of all divisional product lines.  Someone with current or previous Medical Capital Equipment background is strongly desired, but will entertain those with Medical Device background as well.

This position currently has two national account direct reports with plans of expanding the national accounts department and imperative that all job candidates have current (or previous) direct report management background (ideally in the National Accounts arena or minimally sales management background) leading a growing team to sales objective success.   This person will be charged for building and leading the national account program and offerings in the United States and have the negotiation experience and ability to drive the program to growth and continued sustainability to increase marketshare.  


 This is a direct report position to the Vice President of Sales.  Only those with the required background as outlined with the job requirements will be considered.
 
 
Position Location and Coverage:

  • Candidate can live remote from office within the United States
  • USA Responsibilities 
  • High travel position

Compensation:

  • Salary plus bonus up to $225,000 or TBD
  • All Reimbursed Travel and Entertainment
  • Full medical, dental benefits and 401K

CAREER TIPS:

Required Skills

*BA or BS Degree
*MUST HAVE a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience selling (contract negotiating) to GPO and IDN's
*MUST have Capital Equipment selling background or second best Medical Device Sales background
*Experience working with and interfacing in a team atmosphere that includes Sales, Sales Management and Marketing as one builds IDN, GPO and KAM strategy for expanding national sales marketshare.
*Must have direct report management experience with demonstrated ability to motivate, develop and lead a sales team (best if a national acccounts sales team) to exceeding quotas and management objectives.

Pay Range
$180,000.00   Annually to $225,000.00   Annually
