Career Evolutions is seeking out a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for an exciting and growing nationally recognized technology company in Phoenix, AZ. This is an excellent career opportunity with a compensation up to $145k.
Reporting directly to the Head of Cloud Infrastructure, you be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Company’s private Cloud. You will develop a strong understanding of Company needs and how to best use Cloud technologies and services to support such needs. You will use your deep familiarity of Cloud technologies to help set the roadmap for future company offerings.

Analyze the cloud infrastructure needs of the Company’s product units and transversal functions.
Participate to selection and deployment of Openstack distribution (SLA, performance, support, cost).
Design and implement private cloud infrastructure. Ensure full integration with hybrid cloud platform management layer, identity management and R&D infrastructure. Work closely with other engineering teams.
Ensure operations, scaling, maintenance of our private cloud infrastructure
Support the organization in maturing the infrastructure into a fully automated, service-oriented, hybrid IT.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
3-5 years of experience with cloud and Linux technologies
2+ years of experience with Openstack, knowledge of major open source & commercial distributions
Good knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python)
Knowledge of cloud networking architecture, cloud operations, security, automation and orchestration
Experience with virtualization technologies, in particular VMWare and KVM
Experience with the implementation and/or operations of medium to large-scale enterprise cloud infrastructures
Good understanding of data security and privacy concerns
