The Senior Network Engineer will be a critical hire responsible for the day to day global network operations within this organization. They will be tasked with providing administration and level 3 support for the network operation monitoring tools on a global scale. The engineer will work with global network teams on administration, system tuning and enhancements of these network tools.


The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience working in a complex Network Operations environment, have worked on international projects and have a good working knowledge in the following areas:

• Excellent written and oral skills, able to explain complex technical issues and resolutions
• Good time management and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Great troubleshooting skills
• The ability to liaise with carriers, vendors and internal departments
• Strong knowledge of Network Tools including HPNA, Niksun, Smarts, SevOne, syslog, ACS, Radius, TACACS, Citrix, McAfee, Splunk, Fluke, and other logging and Juniper tools
• Excellent knowledge of Cisco/Juniper network technology and services/protocols.
• Network Management of complex and global network environments
• Knowledge of IP multicast within the Firewall platform and arena.Networking protocols relevant to the internet or intranet (HTTP, SSL, DNS, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
• Linux/UNIX, XP and Windows 7, experience incl. any network related applications.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as perl, shell etc.
• Voice/PABX technology
• Remote Access Technology
